Maslow and I set aside time each month for volunteer visits in our community. These visits are a way for us to give back and to reach those who might not otherwise have access to therapy dog support. Availability is limited, but we welcome requests.

These visits can take place in homes, offices, or community settings.

Structured group visits are flexible and can be tailored for your community. Activities might include reading to Maslow, guided mindfulness and breathing, stress-relief breaks, or simply sharing stories while petting him. Whether in a classroom, workplace, or nursing home, Maslow brings a grounding presence that helps groups connect, relax, and thrive together.

• Maslow and I visit with your group in a structured session (up to ~25 participants).

• Sessions may include stress relief activities, group bonding, or social-emotional support.

What it’s for: Larger gatherings such as wellness fairs, “mental health awareness week,” employee appreciation day, open-house events, etc.

At special events, Maslow’s role is to bring warmth, calm, and connection to your gathering. Unlike structured group visits, these appearances are flexible and designed for larger crowds or open settings. People can stop by for a few minutes to pet Maslow, take a break from the busyness of the event, or simply share a smile with him as they pass by. These moments of interaction may be brief, but they often leave a lasting impact — offering comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging.
